Deniz Gulan
Deniz, founding member of Gulan Translations, is a native English speaker and has spent several years in France and Germany. She has 25 years experience in legal, financial and literary translation, interpretation and international coaching.
Deniz graduated in Modern Languages, specialising in French and German Interpreting and Translating. She subsequently spent twenty five years in Paris as trilingual paralegal and inhouse translator in three major international law firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dewey & LeBoeuf, and Taylor Wessing. Prior to graduating, she spent three years in Germany. She also speaks fluent Turkish. Deniz is a long-standing member of the Sonnenberg Association of Great Britain, a German non-profit making pedagogic organisation, promoting sustainabilitiy, human rights, freedom of expression and global cooperation, through virtual and physical conferences.
Deniz currently works as an independent translator, interpreter and English language coach: Gulan Translations. Her clients include language solution providers, lawyers, individuals, industry, logistics providers, expatriation candidates, managers, executives, multinational corporations, SME’s, investment fonds, banks, publishers, public procurement, social services, French courts and crime unit.
She is a member of Translators Without Borders, a NGO community translating to save lives.
